Hello everyone
In my internet window shopping I have come down to two choices, the Outback or PA12.
My weight and size concern me a little as I'm not a small guy. 6'3 240lbs with a 33in inseam. Do you think I would comfortably fit in a outback?
The reason for looking at the Outback is it just might make enough room in the budget for two hobies. One for me and one for the wife. Mine will be used for skinny water push pole fishing and some calm rivers hunting big catfish. Wifey's will just be for a good fun weekend on the water with me.
We already have two paddle yaks, tsunami 145's and a aluminum 4 yak trailer . So weight and size aren't much of an issue for us.

I'm 6'3" 235, and own an Outback, no problems here never gave it much thought either. Skinny water push pole fishing concerns me 'tho, I will tell you that I don't stand if that's what you plan on. I'd probably go with a PA. But, I'm 6 months shy of 60, not as stable as I once was.

Thanks that's what I was looking for LT. I'm going on 48 but sight fishing for redfish is my dream in the mosquito lagoon in Fla about thirty minutes from my house. Then I have the St Johns river 10min away with all its good freshwater fishing.

I'm 6 foot, 250 and have a 2015 outback, and no issues with my size. I purchased the outback specifically for trolling, so I have only stood up on it when I've had a near-by dock to assist.

I test drove a PA 12 and the Outback - the PA was definitely more stable and easier to get to a standing position. If it were me, I would spend the extra buck to get the PA 12 for push pole fishing.

I do not agree.

Outback is more stble than PA12. Pa 12 hull is turning, which Pa14 hull don't do...
