In the past I've seen it mentioned that some retailers have been willing to discount the Torqueedo but make you place the order on their web site for the discount to show. I think that is because Torqueedo forces their dealers to sell retail. If anyone knows a place that discounts the Torqueedo, please let me know at my email address. That way there is no way for Torqueedo to find out who is discounting their product. Thanks, [email protected] |

Manufacturers often limit advertised prices but can't legally limit actual sales price, at least in the US. For example, anybody can go to defender.com, select a Torqeedo product showing "minimum advertised price", and place it into their shopping cart to see the discounted price. This retailer does offer decent discounts on many Torqeedo products. Peter |
