My apologies if this has been asked already...I did search, but didn't find anything. I've had this livewell for a while, but due to some illness in the family I've never used it. Went to try it out the other day, and when I plugged the battery in and turned it on I couldn't hear the pump. It seems like it is not turning on, so not sure if it's the switch, the pump, or the battery needs to be replaced. Anyone have a similar issue and have some pointers? I've seen some folks have changed the battery, so also interested in those options. Thanks! |

Maybe the battery if you did not charge it. We did have switch issues a few years ago, there is a magnetic "reed switch" that may be faulty. You will have to check battery voltage and then the switch. 72021053 REED SWITCH REPLACEMENT KIT ![]() https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/media.hobie.com/item_attachments/72021053_instructions.pdf |

I definitely charged it, but can't remember now how long I left the batter on the charger. It's definitely possible that I killed it, but yeah I will find a way to test it. Thanks for that reference. I bought it in 2018, so was hoping it's not the switch problem. I might call in and see about getting that replacement. |
