Post subject:  Best gear track for rigging?

Good morning,

I have a Revo 16 and a bunch of Ram mounts and am wondering what is the best gear track out there. There are so many options really.

I will mount a small fish finder on one side and a spinning rod holder that I am NOT going to use for trolling on the other side.

I am wondering if people prefer aluminum or composite and why and what is your preferred brand. Also, is backing necessary for these? Thanks in advance.

I use aluminum t tracks that I bought off of amazon. I have them mounted with aluminum flat stock for backing because I sometimes fish for big catfish and once had a rod with the holder ripped right out of a composite track.

These are the ones I bought. POWERTEC 71118 Double-Cut Profile Universal T-Track with Predrilled Mounting Holes(2-Pack), 24" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MN2CPL/re ... iFbR7CH9WT

I highly recommend them.
