OK....we purchased new 12' Hobie Mirage Passports. Picked up the Lowrance Hook2 4X GPS/Bullet fish finder. Ordered the Hobie Fishfinder Install Kit III and the Through hole plug kit, watched the Youtube install video. Easy Peasy.....but.....didn't catch the reference about also needing the Passport Fish Finder Fit Kit. How many friggen install kits does this damn thing need? Hey HOBIE.....how about consolidating the number of kits necessary to install a fish finder into one kit?!? Also.....where can I find the proper Passport Fish Finder Fit Kit? Either they aren't listed at any websites I've found or they are sold out. Very frustrating to say the least. Is there another way to install the bullet transducer on the fishfinder removable panel that will work without the special Fit Kit? Has anyone here successfully done that? Pictures please? |
