Almost gave up on my 2008 Revo...I really beat this kayak to death, each successive repair on the cam lock area resulted in faster and faster failure afterwards. After a major struggle coming into a gulf to inland water-way channel a few months back during a strong outgoing tide, I think it was the last straw for this great little kayak, until now. Here's how I used after-market Click-N-Go mechanisms to replace the old cam locks. I did a major modification to the mechanism, check it out: Field test today, before permanently securing with Loctite 3035 went well too: -Roy |
