These only seem to last a year before they rust out. Nobody has them in stock right now, any suggestions on a replacement? Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I only fish about 20 days a year and I hose out the livewell after every trip. |

Early reed switches had an issue where the glass would crack and the inert gas would leak out. This leads to corrosion and then function issues. This should not be a problem since over a year ago we changed the way the reed (glass tube) was bedded in the housing. These should be available now. |

I updated the image URL, hopefully you can see the image now. Mine rusted outside of the glass. I located a new switch, any tips on how to seal this to prevent another failure? |

Sealant to stop any water ingress in the ends of the wires. |
