Has or does anyone have this unit installed on the Hobie PA 12 guardian plate without any Berley Pro extras. if so I'd like to know how is the side imaging and do the pontoons get in the way of the side scanning. I'm looking to upgrade my Hook 5 Tripleshoot and the transducer is currently on the outside of the guardian plate sitting flush , I don't seem to notice any issues with this transducer. as this sits below the pontoons as well. I would think a side scanning transducer no matter what type should work the same as the Lowrance. Any help would be great. I'm also looking at the Raymarine element 7" thank you Worm |
