MAYBE BECAUSE I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CAUGHT UP IN THIS ... ? ......

... Did ok for the frist few hours , the wind hadn't picked up yet as you can see in the back ground , surprisingly the fish were on the chew even with the cold windy front looming .

... right about the time of this picture the wind had picked up , you can spot the white caps in the main channel and it just got worse from ther ...

Just a note on weather. While there are days I sail my AI in rain or shine, hot or cold, every trip can be made safer and better with some reasonably complete weather information. It affects my decisions about how much gear and what type, which put-in to use, where to go and how long to stay. The local weather stations and their web sites don’t give me sufficient data.

My recommendation is to visit the NOAA NWS homepage at http://www.nws.noaa.gov Our tax dollars have bought something very useful.

Go to Forecasts \ Local then select the link to your region. Below the regional map there are four icons. Select the “Graphical Forecast Imagesâ€
