I ordered mine and should get it today or tomorrow. On another board I received information that OEX in Oceanside, CA has them and will ship. Their number is 760-721-6195 and ask for Nate.

The local dealer was supposed to have had an i12e for me to try weeks ago , but I still haven't heard from him.
My dumb question , is what is the live well used for , bait , or the catch ?.

I suppose you could use it for either bait or your catch if your catch can get stuffed in there. The hatch is 8" diameter and the inside is about 17" long by 13.5" wide.

Joe11 - Thanks for the plug. Yes we have them and will ship

ddriver - I've used my live well for both. I recently fished in the Plastic Navy Mission Bay tourney and used it for a livewell. It can comfortable hold my 5 fish limit of Saltwater bass. I also use it at least once a week to keep bait (mackerel, sardines, smelt) alive while I'm trolling for BIG fish offshore.

So it wasn't such a dumb question after all !.
Its getting cold here now , getting frosts , some I'm not that keen on learning the kayak caper till it warms up again .
But I still haven't heard from the dealer anyway.

We went down to Portland (thats in Vic.Aust.) yesterday , and I checked out the areas I could easily fish , as a novice.
One area had big fish just jumping out of the sea not 10 feet from me !.
We look like buying a small farm down there , but there will be lots of river , and bay fishing for me.
If I ever see the boat !.
