Took the inflatable on a plane for some lovely southern fishing. ![]() weather started out rough...windy rainy and cold. ![]() Once it got nicer I got into more open spaces. ![]() I got onto water that probably has never been fished. I could explore areas that were less then a foot deep. ![]() Wasn't sure what I would be catching, wasn't even sure if there would be fish. No one to check notes with. Was very happy to catch my first fish. ![]() Even though cool and rainy weather turns fishing off, I did okay! ![]() Hobie fishing reminded me when I first started fishing in a canoe where you would have a pole in one hand and steer using a straight arm and paddle in the other hand. The boat and fish need to be managed! Wind and current made things challenging when a fish was on. ![]() Lover snapper for dinner. ![]() ...and wildlife. There were lots of birds that were too far away or too small to shoot. ![]() There were incredibly cool channels which led into jungle like lagoons. All very cool...exploring was as much fun as fishing. ![]() ![]() Caught some new species. ![]() And bigger fish of other species that I had caught before. ![]() ![]() Finally a water shot that is my fav. |
