Thanks for sharing with the pics Ronbo. Looks like an excellent trip and some fine Calicos. An all Hobie fleet... Was it set up by Fast Lane? |

WOW Ron! Awesome trip--that must have been a blast. Your pic of the Macrocystis beds brought back some fond memories, not to mention aromas--love that kelp bed smell! |

Most of the guys on the trip worked for Hobie, guess they wanted to make sure the products were working correctly. Looks like these kayak mothership trips will gain popularity in the future. The inshore fishing at that time of year is relatively slow, but the fishing at the islands is pretty good. Most of the commercial sportfishers are sitting at the dock this time of year, so they probably are happy to see a new kind of sportfishing customer. |
