The Hobie adventure has proven to be the best kayak out there by far. Even though it is a single person kayak, I was able to take my two boys out for a paddle. The front hatch is roomy enough for a child to sit in and stretch their legs out. The spot behind the seat is also roomy enough for one or two kids depending on size. I took my two boys (age 3&5) and they had a blast. Of course I would recommend having a second boat and partner with you so that if trouble arises you are not trying to get a child out of a capsized boat, but on calm waters it was a perfect trip whether paddling or peadling. |
