Hi,

I want to know what kind of speed we can reech with the new Islander. What is the maximum wind velocity for the Islander?
Anybody have an idea?

I think we have to stick with conventional small craft recommendations. We do not advise sailing any of our product beyond what the US Coast Guard considers to be limitations in safety. If the small craft advisories are flying...stay off the water.

I sailed one day in 20 knots and gusts to 24. I found that the boat would start to plane or nearly so. I had no speed recording device, but the rudder was humming!
