https://youtu.be/JKDSoILjaTQ Fishing was ok.....but the winds made my trip. Went out on Christmas eve and found a slow bite with a few Speckled Trout, early in the day. Luckily the wind picked up and helped turn my fishing trip into more of a sailing adventure. |

Is there any issues sailing a Pro Angler 14? I never see a picture of a PA with a sail and theres hardly any videos. Just trying to weigh out if its gonna be worth it to me. I don't plan on fishing while I'm sailing. More or less just getting to and coming back from spots that take a long time to get to. |

Moves well in a "hybrid" mode (combined sailing and pedaling). ![]() ![]() Can be stowed along the side when not i use: ![]() Hobie Angler wrote: Nice video showing showing the PA in both hybrid and sail-only mode as well as how quickly and easily the furler operates! ![]() |

Nice vid. It sums it up nicely. It looked like it moves pretty good. Bout the same or faster than peddling. I'm just looking to use it after peddling 8 or 9 miles all day and sail back to shore when the wind picks up(and it usually does). |
