Post subject:  Furler on sail kit for inflatable kayaks
Hi
I have a sail kit for the inflatables, with the 4 piece mast...have removed the strings for stabilization of mast on the inflatables
I need to use it on my 2013 outback....
My question is
Will the hobie furler kit work for me?
Is mast diameter the same on the different sail kits?

Should still work. You might have to tape each joint to force the rotation up thru the whole mast length.

The inflatable sail mast used to be slightly shorter in length, making it's suitability questionable for the plastic boats. If this is still the case, your sail may not clear the insertion tube, or not provide sufficient clearance between the sail and deck to accommodate a furler. I suspect you may need the standard sail mast. 8)
