Post subject:  Hobie sidekick mount -- exact distance between screws ?
Hi everyone,

I am hoping to mount a hobie sidekick ama kit onto a foldable kayak (feathercraft) and am wondering if I might be able to use the glueable scotty mounting pad (cut in two) to fix the sidekick mounts. Would someone kindly provide me with the measure between the screws? The dimension between the closest two screw holes on the Scotty mounting plate is
1 5/16 inches.

The holes are approx 1 7/8 inches apart.

Thank you for your response! Too bad for me ... I was hoping 1 5/16 ! Back to the drawing board. :|
Any thoughts of how to install the sidekick AMA kit on an inflatable or foldable, anyone?
