I need a new trailer. My trailer broke in two last month on the way to the out of town. The left front side of the A frame that holds the tongue to the trailer snapped in two.

I had it welded and then took the boat home. Thankfully the boat was unscathed :D Needless to say, my trip was cut short but I digress. The trailer was made by a company called Shoreline. I noticed that they are out of business. My guess is that the trailer is a '97 because that is how old the boat is.

The trailer has always struck me as flimsy. The mast support certainly wobbled around on the road alot. I like that fact that it tilts like a dump truck and that makes it very easy to load and unload the boat. I would like to get a new one that tilts and has a support for the mast in the rear.

My first cat had a shoreline trailer. It broke when it was about 5 years old, in a freshwater environment! I’ve got a Genesis trailer now. Very sturdy.
