I don't see why not. You have an access port right there. Peek inside and see how badly it's actually cracked. sm |

Brett, Send the picture to Craig in Watsonville. He is the "20 Glass guy" and does almost all of the 20 work in Ca. If the boat is worth salvaging it would be nice to have it done correctly. |

Next challenge same Starboard 94 hull has a soft spot. below the front crossbar on the outside of hull. Its hard to take a picture of white on white but its about 8 to 12inches below the crossbar and slightly forward. I would estimate 8 inches long 4 high. Currently there is no port in the top deck. My question is where is the bulkhead in relation to the crossbar? I'll try to outline the spot and post additional pictures in a few days. ![]() |

There is a bulkhead directly under the crossbar. There are also some stiffening features molded to the inside of the hull. A fiber half tube "stringer" (Inboard I believe)... and a foam block suspended between the inner and outer. ![]() |

Brett brought his 20 to the fun sail at Woodward on the 24th of April. Boat looks good, it did take on some water which is unfortunate. I know Brett will have it ship shape soon enough, he is very good a hobie repair. Ryan |

The boat has been out for a fun sail and Wet n Wild regatta and seams to be preforming well. It still needs a number of refinements but were working on it. B ust O ut A nother T housand After talking to a few people I have decided this is a cosmetic problem and not a structural. I will still reinforce the inside with a few layers of glass and call it good for now. ![]() Ryan - Thanks for the help last weekend. |
