hello all!, Just joined! used to have a 16, now have a h20 ..not sure where the appropriate place to ask this question is? but here goes! Id like to put some wings on my h-20...does anyone have any experience with this? or perhaps some wing seats from another boat that would be suitable? Thanks in advance all, and looking forward to sharing ideas /techniques here! regards, Jim |

I put Hobie 18 Magnum wings on my Hobie 20. Wasn't to hard to do. The rear legs bolt to the existing crossbar mount - believe I swapped out the SS bolts to add an inch of thread. Have to trim off about 2" of the forward support leg so it won't puncture hull and add a 7" SS bolt through the front crossbar w washers for protection. Makes long day on the water very comfortable. |
