Some previous owner siliconed around the brackets where the bridle wires attach to the bows. It’s peeling off so my question is that silicone must not have been structural correct? Just there to keep water out right? Thanks in advance, guys!

Correct, not structural. If I recall, the tangs are bolted to a bulkhead inside the hull and the hulls came from the factory with caulk around the tangs.
