Do I need one of these for each rudder? It looks like one was never installed on one of the rudders on our new (used) 2000 H20. ![]() ![]() ![]() There's no listing for them in any parts list or diagram. Looking forward to getting out on Canyon Lake, north of San Antonio. Any other H20 sailors in the area? Lord knows we need help with this thing. |

Yes. Works with one but puts the load only on one side if using just one. Should be on both sides. Without the stop the rudders can turn to full 90 which can allow the tiller crossbar to flip upside down... rotate when aligned head on with the tiller arm. |

I may send the one I have to Shapeways.com and see if they can 3D print a few for me. |

I would probably just mount a bumper to the transom where the rudder casting makes contact. https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-bumpers/=1dnqj4w Also, from what I recall, our Hobie 20 only had the factory bumper on one casting. sm |

Good idea, SM. Shapeways wants $200 just to start the process to manufacture these. |

Another stop I saw at the NACs last year was the rubber door jam wedges glued to the transom. The kind you kick under a door to keep it from moving. Tom |
