The support tube that came with my boat is all catawampus and I’ll just say the rigging appears to be of the custom variety. I can’t find a part number or the tube for sale anywhere? It looks like the last owner cut up a pvc pipe and stuffed it with marine tex. Thanks in advance, everyone.

That is all it is... and not available from Hobie as a replacement part.

You only need a support tube (strut) on the rotator bar if you’re running a positive mast rotation system that pulls forward on the rotator. The support strut keeps the rotator bar from lifting up. As Matt pointed out, the strut is not a Hobie part, typically they’re just a piece of PVC pipe cut to length and tied or screwed to the mast and rotation arm. Unless you’re racing, I wouldn’t bother with installing a positive mast rotation system or the support strut, it’s more complication and “stuff” on an already complex boat.
