Post subject: | Plate for hiking strap |
I just replaced my forward crossbar. I had new hiking straps made. Now I don't have the plate that holds the hiking strap to the forward crossbar to match the two pre-drilled holes. Any idea where I could find two of these plates? I see it is a Hobie part, but Wind Toys has not been able to find the part listed on the dealer web site. Anyone have any suggestions besides making my own part? Ryan |

No longer available, but anything you could rivet down over the straps would work. |

Two stainless steel #10 fender washers would probably do the trick. sm |

I am looking at using an RWO plate that I found online. I had a loop sewn on the forward end of the hiking strap, so it will go on around the plate in the center. Ryan |
