There's going to be a lot of boats sailing down in Mission Bay this weekend, the 1st through the 4th. Bravos, Waves, 18's, Tigers, etc. Come down and join us, we'll be on sail bay... |

Resurecting old post for Halloween (BOOH!) How did the event go? Any possibilty to cobble something together again this late in the season? (That's whata wetsuits are for!) I have a bunch of people who would love the chance to get to crew on some different types of cats. I live in San Diego, and sail on Mission Bay all the time, The others normally come down from the LA area), and race with various skippers for the regatta's throughout the season. Since the "Offical" racing season is about to end until Feb, now would be a great time to just get together for some fun sailing. Let me know. [email protected] |

Does anybody have a Hobie Bravo or Hobie Wave in San Diego that would like to get together on weekends and do some informal racing on Mission Bay? I could get either boat and whichever we could build the larger fleet with I'd be up for. No motor boats necessary, buoys are already layed out on the bay, we just need sailboats to play. Let me know, I'd be available for possibly 1 weekend day out of each month during the sailing off-season (November - February) and maybe even some weekends during the sailing season. The Catamaran Racing group may be trying to get something together in Febuary (No regatta's that month). So if you are looking for crew for you boat (16, Tiger, or 20), show up with your boat and we will pair you with a crew. The Waves and Bravo's are also welcome, if you are willing to let the crews sail your boat (We would like to start getting them some skippering experiance.)
