| Post subject: | San Diego Classic Changes |
The San Diego Classic is now officially scheduled for Father's Day weekend, June 16-17. Please spread the word to your fleet, and note that this is different than the date that was originally announced. There are a few other important changes this year - The launch site will be Tidelands Park in Coronado - coming across the bridge, it's immediately to the right when you first enter Coronado. More detailed info is coming in the NOR. Camping is available at Silver Strand State Beach, 4 miles away from the launch. Sites are reservation only, available at http://www.reserveamerica.com Please make your reservations NOW! We'll have to work out some carpools to the launch. I've also been told that there are a few reasonable motels immediately adjacent to Tidelands Park, but I haven't had a chance to research it yet. Sorry for the delay in announcing this, we were awaiting final approval from the city. |
