I understand there are now hull cradles made specifically for the Tiger. Is this correct? If so, is there someplace online where I can find a picture of one? I'm interested in how they attach to the trailer, and generally what they look like. Also, a part number for ordering. Thanks.

We have had the same cradles for the Tiger for years... nothing new that I know of. # 1624 in the catalog.

No great photos of the attachment though. The bottom of the cradle is shaped for a Cat trax axel. There is a stainless starp hardware to "U" bolt it in place.

You can slip the cradles onto the rollers of a trailer after rolling the boat on. Lift the boat and slip the cradle in between. That or mount a round (pipe half) onto the crossbar and then the cradle to that.

Thanks Matt. The cradles I have appear to be made for a Cat trax, so they may be the ones you mentioned. Difficult to be sure since there are no markings on the cradles indicating a model number or anything.

On a related note, I've seen pictures of a Tiger on a trailer with dual rollers front and rear. The roller pairs rock to align with the boat and even the load providing four contact points on each hull. Is this a recommended configuration for a Tiger trailer?

Cradles all-around are best for the hulls. You take the 8 contact points load from rollers and divide it by 10 or more. Much less point loading. The rollers are ok, but when bouncing down the highway you increase the loads on each bounce. Better to distribute it more.

Is it OK to load a Tiger onto a trailer that only has SINGLE rollers, then put cradles between the boat and rollers? I keep hearing about how sensitive the hulls are and am afraid to dent the hulls.

Thanks,

Mark
