The first time I talked about our Smart Sail Technologyâ„¢ we were considering a system that had NEVER been tested or proved. I found one that an inventor had done both with and put him under contract! He has already tested it on a one meter catamaran with RC control. We are going to build one more of these and make sure it passes with flying colors! Then we will begin to prepare for building a new and improved one for a Wild Cat. Just an fyi... Hobie classes are one-design, so not many would be interested in something like this. One Design is a strict set of rules that govern what a sailor can do to his boat and still race in the class. Sail rigs are a no brainer no no. |
