I wonder how you guys adjust your jib traveller with the self tacking system. I have not quite yet found the right angle for each wind condition. For light winds (say up to 8 knots) I set it about 10cm (4 inches) inwards from the most outward position. For winds over 16 knots I will let it all the way out, and use some settings in between for the other conditions. How do you set this up? |

I had the good fortune to get Darren Bundock to have a look at my Tiger over the weekend and he said that they keep the jib traveller centered over the second post all the time - never vary it. |

He did. Basically using the transom as a guide. Its a 4" (100mm) band down the transom starting 2" (50mm) down from the top, for light air down to the middle set of screws holding on the gudgeon plate for heavy air. I had mine half way between these two points and the boat was very stable in over 25knts. |

No worries - we all need help with the Tiger its such a beast with so much power, its hard to know what to fiddle with next |
