So what would it take to be allowed to have advertising on a Hobie Tiger in a Hobie Regatta? A bunch of us placed the Division web address on our masts. But now we're talking, and it looks like this is in violation of the rules. I'd love to be able to get some help next year towards racing fees and equipment. There are all levels of support and sponsorship. So what prevents us from doing it now, and what would it take to make some changes. Maybe the rules already allow this, and I just haven't read them enough. Thanks, |

Don, you're not reading the rules very carefully. From the IHCA General Class Rules: Quote: 20. ADVERTISING
20.1 Advertising is allowed in accordance with RRS 79 and ISAF Advertising Code, Category C, unless the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions designate otherwise. You need to check NOR and SI's for the event you plan to sail in. |
