Check out the tiller connector Bunducks has.Looks like the same type I use on my laser.Has any one else tried this on thier hobie 16

You might have to zoom in to notice that it is different then the standard tiller connecter

Yeah, looks like one of those rubber thingies that I've seen on the tillers of the Excites you can rent here. Hmmm... it'd take a bit of getting used to...

Post subject:  Hiking stick yoke connection

What we call the "Tiller Connector" is actually the connection of the tiller arms to tiller crossbar. Hiking stick yoke... connection of the hiking stick (often called a tiller) to the crossbar. Yeah, that is a tendon. That is a Ronstan thing. They are pretty stiff. Don't think that you would notice any play when pushing or pulling the hiking stick.

To be picky...

The tillers come off the rudder castings. The two tillers are connected to the tiller crossbar. What you hold is the hiking stick.
