I remember reading an article by Wayne Shaffer back in the early 80,s.At that time he figuered the 16 was being sailed at about 70% of its potential.I was wondering with the new tunning philosophies and new rigging if the 16 is now maxed out for it,s potential or do you think there is room for more.Along the same line of thinking ,how much faster(skill being equal) do you think the 16 is being sailed around the course now,compared to the early 80,s? |
