Tiger Event Boats for Sale Now!

The Tiger Worlds will take place in Santa Barbara, California March 28-31, and it is going to be a huge event, with 87 boats already pre-registered and a veritable “who’s who” of racers on the starting line. We’ve got containers of boats coming in from the East Coast, from Europe and from Australia with participants’ boats, thanks to sponsorship arranged by the event organizer Steve Leo and the Hobie Class Association. Also, the U.S. Sailing Hobie Alter Cup will be sailed three weeks later on Tigers in Long Beach, California, April 13-17, and all of this action has translated to strong Tiger sales across the nation.

Hobie Cat will be supplying a total of 18 charter boats for both events. Special equipment will include event graphics on the hulls and sails (which are removable) and a soft trompette snuffer system. There will be two price levels, one for Tiger Worlds boats that will be raced for four days and available for pickup in Santa Barbara on March 31st, and one for Alter Cup boats that will have been raced for nine days total and available for pick up in Long Beach on April 17 th.
