Hobie 17's at Division seven championships in Des Moines, Iowa Aug. 7-8th!! It looks like sailorville lake will have a large and very competitive 17 fleet! Top sailors from Div. 5, 14, and 7 will be racing and warming up for 17-18 nationals a couple weeks later. If you have a 17 you don't want to miss this regatta. rumor has it that Wrinklie is coming out of injured reserve! (I heard he Gained a few pounds recovering from his wrist injury)!! and Grandpa (Volkman) Is coming out of retirement for this one!! I count 13 boats so far!! |

Thanks Mork!! Yes the event has changed venue due to water levels in Des Moines. This is a good way to get familiar with the lake before H 20 NAC's in sept.
