So, whats with the 14 racing scene? Does it no longer exist (I know it doesn't here in Maryland but the Hobie racing scene isn't that strong period down here, maybe a stronger 16 fleet than some areas of the country but thats it)? Does the Frostbite Series still run up in Rhode Island? And did they have new boats at the 03 Continentals? More importantly, where did they 14 sailors get their racing experience? Since the 14 fleets have pretty much died! Sam |

Sam, if you would come over to Va Beach, we could get more 14s out racing. I have a few and I've been putting them together and selling them to locals to build the 14 sailing scene. Of course, some of them have Hooters and square tops, but we could get a pretty good class going with a little more commitment! There will be 3 at Camp Hatteras! |

From what I understand, the frostbiters still run up here. I just started on a 14 this season, but I've seen them out there before. I think the only time they don't sail is when there is ice on the bay. Marcus H14 Narragansett Bay |
