I’m looking to purchase a Bravo and are after some advice on transporting it by hand. I’m hoping someone on the forum has had some practical experience they can share with me. I’m close enough to the beach that I’m thinking I may be able to move the Bravo myself on a beach trolley. I have 30 yards of road at a 15 degree incline and another 30 yards of sand (some soft) to cross. At 195lbs will the Bravo be trouble to pull (or stop) on the slope and can I move it myself through soft sand? I do have a plan B, but it involves trailer, car and driving to a boat ramp 2 miles away. Thanks, Paul |

I really don't believe you will have a problem if you use a dolly. If you are worried about the weight, just move the boat without the mast and attach it at the water. This will greatly reduce the weight. Hobie makes a nice dolly with beach wheels that should solve any issues you have concerning soft sand. I suggest going to your local dealer and asking them to load a hull on a dolly to try for yourself. |

Home made or genuine Hobie dolly will both work well. I have the genuine Hobie one and find it very very easy to use even on soft sand. Dragging the Bravo is also an option but not one I recommend doing a lot. |

A four wheel dolly would be best, if just using two wheels, gotta strap the boat on tight. |
