I’m having a blast with my new (to me) Bravo and want to make my own boom. I’m planning on starting simple and was wonder how far out from the mast folks have the clew of the sail. I figure I’ll start with minimal adjustment while I put my effort into the boom/mast attachment. Once I get it tuned up well, I’ll make up plans for DIY crowd.

Thanks Matt, I do. I’m just cheap and like to tinker and make stuff on my own.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi Bill,

Did you every make you're own boom? I'm very interested to know what you learned from the experience.

Never got around to it. I ended up selling the Bravo when I found a great price on a Getaway.
