Hello everyone, I just purchased a H21SE and I am finding that I need a motor to get out and in of the cove where I have it docked. My question is would a Torqeedo 4 HP Electric Motor be a good fit for something as big as a 21SE and how and where would I mount such a thing? And if someone had pictures of how they have theirs mounted that would help out a lot. Thanks! |

I've got a Torqeedo with a Cheeta motor mount on a Getaway. Plenty of power! At full throttle with 4 adults on board, it'll push the Getaway at about 10 knots, which is oddly uncomfortable. I usually go about 1/2 throttle at 6 knots. |

I can hardly believe it. I have a torqeedo 1003L mounted on a Wave. I have done my measurements on a calm morning and flat sea surface in a closed bay with no currents. Only me on board (70 kg), without sail. Speed and power readings were from torqeedo's display. The maximum speed I achieved was 6.1 knot with 980W of battery power. |
