I'm looking for information about the Fat Bags for my 1989 Hobie 21 SE. Do they work? Do I have to remove my current pop on deck lid for the screw in type. Want to store extra clothes in one and maybe adult beverages in the other. Are they dry bags? jem135 |

Should be 8" ports on a 21? We only have Fat Bags for the 6" screw in with lip and a Bag retro for a Viking T handle hatch. The backing ring adds the required lip. |

I installed new deck lids in the back to repair broken wing support pockets in the hulls. I think they are 5 or 6 inch. jem135 |

The 21Se has 8" access ports from the factory near the daggerboards....mine too has 5" curved ports near the back wing sockets with those fat bags that are OK some small thing but I still place important items in a waterproof container. ![]() |
