Same casting just a longer "arm" to the crossbar connection....I have replaced both upper unit a couple of years ago...not bad for sometime for '89...

Are the Hobie 21 SE rudder castings (upper & lower) compatible with the H21 SC or Getaway castings? I'm looking for 1 casting. Finding a casting off a H21SE is proving to be difficult, so thought maybe I needed to expand my search depending on compatibility. Thanks! |

The Hobie 21SE used the same castings as: Hobie 17 Hobie 18 1985 and newer Hobie 20 Hobie Wave and Getaway until we went to EZ Lock (plastic housings) |

So if the casting is the same will the one piece H18 die cast gudgeon work? Part # 60102011 for example. Looking to repair and upgrade my transom. |
