The transom has gone soft and lower gudgeon has broken the glass. I intend to dry it out, drill holes, inject epoxy, reinforce inside and outside of transom with glass (prob some heavy carbon mat on the inside) and then thru bolt it back together. Should be fun. Does anyone know if the part linked below is compatible? It seems like a sensible step up, esp since I'm fixing the area anyway. https://www.murrays.com/product/50-60102011/ Thank You. |

Should be. It is the same lower rudder casting and gudgeon arrangement on the 18 and 21. sm |

I've got extra stock type if you need it. Not like that, though... |

Thanks, but I have the orig style to reinstall if necessary. The one piece model looks more solid and better for alignment. |
