Hi all! I have been studying this forum for the last few days trying to get some insight on the 21 SC. My husband found one locally that seems to be in decent condition but needs a little work (he is an engineer and can't resist a project). We have 4 children and do not plan on doing anything high octane, nor are we looking to beach launch. Would you say that this is a reasonable price for something we will have to put some work and money into? https://charleston.craigslist.org/boa/d ... 29593.html |

It looks like a good deal to me. The dirty look on the hulls will clean right off with some Slimmy Grimmy. ![]() |

With recent sails and rigging?! That's a deal. Glass work is cheap if you're doing it yourself and you know how to do it. I saw another one recently at $5K and thought it was a very reasonable price, so $2K is a bargain. |

After purchasing all the missing pieces for my boat I would generally think $5k is on the lower end of the price bracket for a complete 21sc with all original sails and rigging. The $2k seems like a great deal if you don't mind a little work cleaning up and investigating the soft spot they mentioned. Not to detract from this forum but we have a 21 Sport Cruiser Facebook Group if you want to access some of the content we have shared on that site. |

I have an extra set of 21SE hulls that may end up going to a land fill this spring. ![]() If you need a deck section...maybe I could cut it off and send to you? ![]() Bill |
