Does the I14T handle well with just one person? I will be doing quite a bit of single kayaking but would like the flexibility of being able to kayak with second person on numerous occassions. My other option is to buy 2 I12S but buying the 14T is much more cost effective. I will not, at least initially, have any sort of sail kit on it and will do some near shore fishing with it as well as generally sight seeing excursions. I will be kayaking near shore off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. |

In peddling mode, I find that my i14T handles as well solo as it does with two people. While sailing in moderate winds, I find the second person helps to keep the boat flat and hence it handles much better. I enjoy my solo outings and tandem outing equally. Each has their own pleasures. |
