does anyone know a concern that makes a motor to put in the trunk of the hobie inflatable? Most makers on have them for the hardshell kayaks

We have an evolve (Torqeedo) version that fits in the iSeries drive well.

I found this week, when I tried to insert my Torqeedo motor into my brand new i12S, that the nose cone of the motor is too wide to squeeze through the drive receptacle/drive well/hole/trunk for the Mirage Drive. Am I doing something wrong? Can anybody help me with this? I bought the new i12S on the assumption that I could use my Torqeedo with it. This is a major disappointment! Please clue me in!
