Hello, I have an older i9 and would like to upgrade it to a better seat, I like the new seat that new i-series are using. I was wondering if anyone has ever upgraded to a different seat and what seat did you use. I have tried to do it myself with mixed results. I wish hobie would come out with a kits that would allow people with older inflatables to upgrade some of their equipment, like the seats. If anyone knows of an aftermarket kit or if Hobie is planning on offering one please let me know. Thanks |

In order to fit the CTi seat into the I series kayaks we had to widen the floors and make the tubes more narrow on all the models. It is not something that is backwards’ compatible unfortunately. |

Lafuma CB Camp Chair could be fit into i9s, but a little tight for the back legs, some modification could make it works |
