| Post subject: | Removing the seal surrounding the mirage drive mount |
I need to remove the front portion of the seal of the mirage drive mount. I read a post recently that called for the same procedure. For all intents and purposes it appears I have a leak where the drive mount is leaking. My question is what is the best method to remove this seal? Would the highest heat setting from a hair dryer be sufficient to lift this seal? Perhaps a thin plastic putty knife and acetone? Thanks for any and all guidance. |
