Post subject:  I11s Before you buy

Hello,
Got a couple of questions:
1. What is the expected life span of the i11s if it keepd as instructed? I've read it's about 5 years but that was an old post.
2. Is there an option to buy "hull only" i11s in the case that it destroyed? couldn't find any in the spare parts
3. Are there any plans for i11s sail kit?

Cheers,
Shay

The life of any inflatable product will vary widely depending on factors such as use, care, location (in extremely hot or humid climates the glue will have a much shorter lifespan)

Best advice is to try and keep the product climate controlled when not in use.
We don't show hull only for sale, but you would be able to obtain one through a dealer in the future if needed. Part # is 87711018

There is no sail kit option for the i11s - sorry.

if you are looking for a 'sail' to get a free boost from the wind, I am happy using the Wind Paddle Adventure on my i11s, it clips to the front attach rings and folds up out of the way when not in use.

I still haven't pull the trigger on which one should I buy. I really hooked on Rogerdodger and reason162 youtubes regarding the i11s.
But there is something therapeutic about sailing, and a windPaddle is like opening an umbrella when downwind - which isn't really sailing.

Although my first love is fishing and the i11s looks like a great platform especially because i'm an impulsive fisher - I usually stop to fish on my way home from work when I have the time and having a pull out kayak is a dream. So i'm between the i9s and the i11s which are small and light but the 9 looks too small and the 11 doesn't have a sail. And the 12 which have a sail but too big/heavy.

A sail on the i11s would have been the whole 9 yards for me.
