I have a 2017 i12s and I started noticing bubbles appearing on the underside of the kayak, along the mirage drive cassette area. Is this normal or is there something more serious going on? ![]() |

that looks like some level of delamination of vinyl exterior to the drive well. i don't know how serious it is. did you store it in a hot area? if it's 2017 it may still be under warranty. |

Thanks dry_sockets. I haven't stored it in a hot area and at least thought I took good care of it. Some guy from Hobie said it's only cosmetic, although I think it's more than just that. Just wondering if this is serious enough issue for me to send it in. |

That is odd. Did you try the idea of inflating and setting out in the sun? Looks like the bottom fabric lifting a bit. Heat can soften the glue and pressure stretches it flat. |
