I saw a video in youtube the guy changed the back blade protection cover on the bixpy jet then the bixpy jet with Hobie mirage adapter can put through the mirage hole. Can you tell me the size of the Hobie mirage hole of the Hobie compass is the same size of my i14T mirage hole? Want to buy a Bixpy jet with Hobie mirage adapter but don’t know it will put through my Hobie inflatable kayak
Please see video link below.
Thanka in advance!

Unfortunatly the eclipse and inflatable mirage wells are slightly smaller than the hard kayaks. The Bixpy mirage "PLUG' adapter for it will not fit.

The mirage "PLUG" for the Bixpy is about 1/8 too wide at the front end. There is potential to shave off a bit, however Im not sure if the well is hollow and may require some epoxy filling. This goes for the torpedo as well.

I may try and shave some off

Thanks and I will check the video again.
In this case that mean the bixpy mirage adapter and the bixpy motor both not fit my i14T.
But the video show the bixpy motor can go through the hole by changing the back protection blade cover

Yes, the Bixpy itself will fit through with the adapter blade cover- however the mirage plug kit from Bixpy will not.

You could make a plug using your mirage plug and the standard/universal Bixpy attachment. Same method as others who make a trolling motor with the plug.
