Hi everyone, I have two questions I would appreciate some help with. I'm buying the mirage for fishing so I'm not really interested in its sailing capabilities. 1 - I'm trying to decide between the i9S or the i12S to fish mostly the Adriatic sea in the Mediterranean in the summer, that's the area next to Croatia to give a rough indication. The sea tends to be fairly calm. Some swells can occur but i wouldn't go in with anything higher than 2-3 feet. Does anyone have experience fishing offshore (1-2 miles max) on the Mirage in that area of the world or comparable conditions? Do I give up a lot in terms of stability and speed with the i9S vs the i12S or the difference is mostly in storage capabilities? 2 - I have the opportunity to buy the 2015 model for about 1200$ less than the the 2019 model. I read on this forum that the chair in the 2015 model can be uncomfortable but is that the only major feature that changed since the remodeling? Thanks everybody for the assistance, tight lines! |

however, if you're definitely into one of the more boat shaped models, get the bigger one. more storage, will deal with swells and wakes better. |
